Emma Dale

Hello, my name is Emma Dale, and this will be my fifth year working with the wonderful AMS Community. I am originally from the small town of Marion NC, which is 30 miles east of Asheville in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina. Since I can remember, I have wanted to work with children, and have had numerous, positive experiences in various professional roles in this capacity. I discovered The Montessori Method of Education when I moved to Charleston, SC, in 2017, and just fell in love with the child-centered educational approach implemented through this method. Before moving back to NC, in 2019, I was employed as the Casa Assistant at Sundrops Montessori in Mount Pleasant, SC. Every day I wake up and feel so grateful that I have found a career that I love, and can continue to grow in. This year I am making the decision to go back to school full time! I will be getting my associates degree at AB tech. After my two year program, I plan to transfer to a four year university to finish up my bachelors degree in elementary education, and moving towards getting my Montessori Certification. When I’m not working I like to spend my time with my family, reading, running, doing yoga, playing my ukulele, or hanging out with my cat.
