Isabelle Flack

Assistant Teacher

Hi! I’m Isabelle Flack and I am from Jacksonville, Florida. There I attended a Montessori school that sparked my love for this beautiful teaching practice. I spent time backpacking and working on permaculture farms in New Zealand and co-teaching a Gardening program at a Steiner school in Australia. I spent my summers working as a camp counselor and eventually Program Director of a summer camp in Florida. I graduated from Wofford College with a degree in Environmental Studies and relocated to the Hendersonville area in 2020. I have spent the last few wonderful years as a nanny for several families in the Asheville/Hendersonville area where I was able to combine my two favorite things in the world: being outdoors and working with children! Simultaneously, I earned my Primary (3-6) AMI Montessori Certification from the Southwest Institute of Montessori Studies in Phoenix, AZ and earned my M.Ed with a focus in Montessori Education from Loyola University Maryland. I am so happy to be a part of a community that shares my passion for guiding children as they discover this beautiful world and their place in it. What an honor it is to be a part of their unique journey!

I love living in the mountains and enjoy hiking, camping, listening to live music, practicing yoga, cooking vegan food, and reading with my kitten, Bunni!
