Assistant Teacher

Hi my name is Sarah Pellani and I have been living in Asheville for almost a year now. I received my BS in Elem. Education in Pennsylvania in 2009. Since then I have become a mother of two sons, Dezmund (7) and Weston (4). I am originally from Michigan and worked at an early childcare Montessori school where I fell in love with this way of teaching. I love the way the classroom flows from the students demonstrating independence to how positive and hands on the teacher’s lessons are. I am very excited to be an assistant teacher at AMS and looking forward to my first year.

Other than teaching I love to dance, sing, bake, knit and go on hikes with my husband Joel, and my kiddos.
