Sarah Roberts

“Hello, I’m Sarah Roberts. I am so excited to begin the 2022 school year as an Assistant Teacher here at Asheville Montessori School. Originally from Frederick, Maryland, I attended West Virginia University and received a BFA in Theatre. I moved to New York City to pursue music after college before I settled down in beautiful Asheville, NC in 2002. I returned to school at UNCA and completed the teacher licensure program for grades K-6. After getting married and raising 2 children I began to substitute teach for Asheville City Schools. Most recently, I was an assistant teacher in Kindergarten and a school bus driver at Ira B. Jones Elementary. In my free time i play and sing in two different bands here in Asheville. I love to go see live music with my family.”
