Tuition
Tuition for the 2026-2027 school year
Asheville Montessori School has different schedule options that reflect our parents needs.
There are half day options, 8:15-12:30, and full day options, 8:15-3:00, and our aftercare until 5:00 pm.
After accepting a spot, a $150 registration fee and a $500 deposit is due to hold the student’s place. The $150 registration fee is a one time fee for all new students. The $500 deposit is applied toward the yearly tuition.
Annual Tuition

Extended Care

1. Aftercare does not require an annual commitment and is paid monthly in advance from Aug. 1 to May 1. If space allows, parents who need occasional and/or emergency aftercare/earlycare hours will be billed at the end of the month at $9.75/hour for aftercare and $5.00/morning for earlycare.
2. Aftercare and Earlycare hours are not prorated.
Payment Options
Please Note: Tuition payments can be made via the brightwheel app or by check.
Early Bird Option – Full tuition paid by May 1, 2026, will receive a 5% discount less deposit.
Semester Option – Tuition paid by check in two equal payments – the first paid by July 15, 2026, and the second paid by December 15, 2026, will receive a 3.5% discount less deposit.
Monthly Option – The remaining tuition after the deposit will be divided into 10 equal installments due the first of each month, beginning Aug. 1, 2026, and ending May 1, 2027. The monthly payments do not directly correlate to the time spent in school each month.
Monthly payment amounts: 5 full days – $1,160, 3 full days – $885, and 5 half days – $802.50.
Opportunity Scholarship – We do accept the Opportunity Scholarship! It is available for students attending Kindergarten. For more information, please visit their website. If you receive the opportuinity scholarship, you will need to pay any remaining tuition owed in monthly installments after we have received the scholarship funds, i.e. you cannot pay the remainder in full for additional discounts.
Family discounts – The first child pays full tuition. There is a 6% discount for siblings (excludes aftercare, earlycare, and all prepaid fees – deposit, registration, materials, & student fees.) Each student can only receive one discount.
Tuition is for the 2026-2027 school year only. Arrival time is 8:15 to 8:45, departure time is 12:15 – 12:30 for half day students and 2:40 – 3:00 for full day students.
